I got this email today. It seems to be a new twiat on the old *I have millions but can’t get it without your help scam. This one seems geared to touch a woman’s sense of outrage at an unfair inheritance tradition. Sheesh these folks never give up.
I must go now, I just have to e-mail Nengi and offer to help her in any possible.

Dear Friend,
Finally I made up my mind to swallow shame and
pride and contact
you, hoping that you will help me solve this
challenge that is facing me as a girl child.
You may be surprise to receive this mail because
we have never met each
other.I appreciate that given the nature of my
mail,it would have been better for us to meet and
know each other, but there is no time which is why
I am writing to you.
My names are Nengi Mathazia.I am in my 20s and
was born into a
Royal family of Ovia-Diobu in Takum Taraba in
present Middle Belt area of Nigeria.
My father was the Traditional Prime Minister of
my Community.He was
married to six wives and my mum is the sixth and
last wife of my father.I am the only child of my
mum.
According to our tradition and custom, female
children do not enjoy
direct inheritance when their fathers die. They
must take what their male counterparts give them
and if they are not given anything, they cannot
complain. This tradition does not cause much problem
where a man marries only one wife, but problems of
inheritance is created where a man marries more
than one wife. In our case, my father had six of
them and my mum is the sixth.Since I am a female
child and have no full blood brothers,it was very
difficult for me to get any inheritance from my
father because of polygamous envy and bickerings
which are in my family.
Full effect of this obnoxious tradition became
most manifest when on the death of my father on
Jan, 2003,my step brothers took over all of his
estate to my exclusion 2003,my step brothers took
over all of his estate and gave me nothing. However a
couple of weeks before my father died on God
stepped into my situation. It was precisely on the
13th day of december 2002. On that fatefull day my
father sent for my mother and me.He informed us
that he had made some monetary provisions for
us.Hesaid he could not think of leaving us unprovided
for on his
death and that he would never forgive himself if
he allowed us to suffer because of some
tradition. He said that his ascendency to the throne would
have provided a good opportunity for abrogation
of the tradition, but that he could do little
because, as was the custom he had sworn to uphold the
tradition before his coronation as traditional
prime minister…He specifically told us he had
deposited
the sum of $14,150,0000.( Fourteen Million,One
Hundred and Fifthy Thousand United States of
American Dollars) for my mum and me.He said the money
was being kept under anonymous arrangement .He
then handed documents evidencing the deposit to us
and told us that should he die,we should find a
foreigner to help us invest the money the money to
avoid trace as we would lose the money if it
became a public knowledge.
This is why I am writing to you.I want you to
help my mother and me
receive and invest the money so that we will not
lose it.I know it is sort of stupid to reveal all
these to a stranger, but I willing to trust you if
you can prove that you can be trusted.
I hope I can count on you in this matter.
I am looking forward to your quick response
