Netflix: WTF is it with your inaccessible pop-up ad rates?

I’ve seen this kind of behavior (rates quoted in ads not matching what’s on the landing page) when users use cookie blockers.

I’m not even blocking third-party cookies, AFAICT.

Well, it happened again just now: clicked into the WaPo website, immediately got the Netflix $5.99 pop-up ad, clicked the ad, got a NetFlix page saying deal started at $9.99, and when I got to the page showing different plans, that was the cheapest available price.
