Had to bump the thread for today’s contribution from Jinx.
Maybe, if no-one else has anything to add about Netflix, this can be the Jinx’s-stupid-post-of-the-week thread.
I guess my concern about Netflix is the new pricing system, which seems like it’s double charging me for streaming movies and dvds. I mean, I like the idea that I have the option, and since I have an Xbox 360, I can watch the streaming videos through my TV, but I’m wondering if it’s really worth it, especially because the streaming selection isn’t that great, and like was said, stuff is constantly going on and off streaming.
So, I’m wondering, is it really worth keeping Netflix? Or is it worth switching to Blockbuster, which doesn’t have streaming, and I think doesn’t have as good a selection, but does rent video games (see above re. Xbox360).
I totally agree! Hopefully sometime soon they will have better movies to choose from. It is great for watching old movies that you missed or want to see again but all the new ones that are out on D.V.D. now just show up as “not available.”
Plus why can’t we get the mail service ones?
I just hope that they will continue to grow and things will get better. P.S. I know we didn’t have this 5 years ago but now we do and there are a lot of choices to pick from!
Search engines are fantastic. They can even tell you the difference between venal and venial!
If you think Netflix is bad, try Hulu Plus … a monthly fee plus commercials, and they don’t even have all the content that regular Hulu has.
No, I’m not always pedantic. I didn’t even mention aggravating vs. irritating, now did I?
