I completely agree. Basically, don’t try anything fancy with your wording

ETA: The wickedly cool squid spreadsheet
Here I am, here I am!
I have been to Washington, D.C.
I have indeed smoked the marijuana
I have drank a full cup of coffee
Am I doing this right?
Nice to see you
And you’re doing it absolutely correct!
And since I’m fine with three people being behind
Here comes Hoopy Frood’s statement:
Never have I ever been outside my quadrant of the Earth. (I.e. I live in the Northern and Western Hemispheres. I’ve never been to the Southern or Easter Hemispheres.)
I’m gonna have to ask for clarification - do you define the quadrants by the meridian and the Equator, or by continents*?
- Eg. North America and Europe = NW, Asia = NE, South America = SW, Australia = SE and Africa = ?
I have been outside my quadrant of the Earth however you define it.
traveling squid is on his way
WormTheRed- most excellent spreadsheet. Thanks for using my squids.
I have left my quadrant of the Earth.
Remember, we were asked to bold and greenify our answers, folks.
Nuh uh:
Squidsare cool! So that was a given
Thank for reminding me of the bold part - it makes the answers a lot easier to spot!
I have been outside of my quadrant of the Earth.
I’m going to need to wait for clarification from Hoopy Frood: I’ve never been to east longitudes or south latitudes, but I have been across the Atlantic.
I mean by meridian and Equator.
So I live in the U.S. and the furthest west I’ve been is California, the furthest east is Puerto Rico, the furthest north is somewhere in Quebec or Ontario (was in both, don’t remember which I went further north in) and the furthest south I’ve been is Tobago. This sticks me firmly in the North and West hemispheres. I have never been south of the equator, and have never traveled east from the Prime Meridian or West from the International date line. I’ve never even crossed the Atlantic.
Crap. Stoopid Brits for putting the 0 where it is.
One disgruntled squid for you.
Hey hup! Some of you haven’t sent me a pretty little statement.
I have been to all continents and quasi-continents: North America, South America, Europe, Asia, Africa, Australia, and Antarctica
Dude! You rock! I’ve only been to Europe and North America
How did you get to Antarctica? If you don’t mind me asking.
I’ve never crossed either zero line. Farthest north and east I’ve been is Ireland, farthest west is San Francisco or Seattle, and farthest south is the tip of Texas (actually just across the river).
You’ve been to Antarctica?
I thought I was doing well… I’m only missing South America and Africa. I didn’t even count Antarctica.
