I went on my first cruise ever this past October…13 days!

I have never ever ever been on a cruise.
While I’m sure it would be nice, I’m not particularly interested.
Point of order: Does it count as a “cruise ship” if it’s only a few hours on the river/lake? Because I’m pretty sure I’ve been on the Goodtime II (kittenblue probably knows what that is) at some point or another, but I’ve never been on any sort of floating vessel overnight.

Well, since I just mentioned being on a cruise to Antarctica… yeah, I’ve been on several cruises. Small boats, though, 100 - 150 people, not the monster ships.
I have been on cruise ships.
A weeklong cruise around the Hawaiian Islands, and another along Alaska’s Inside Passage, as well as steamers along the Mississippi, Missouri, Cumberland, Ohio, Snake and Williamette rivers.
OK, if you’ve never done that either, then that’s good enough, I guess.
I’ve probably been on something which more-or-less qualifies as a cruise ship. Have some calamari.
Oh wait- I didn’t think of that. Rats. few hours on a ship on a river or lake doesn’t count. Nuts.

Never smoked a cigarette. I tried a pipe for a couple of years in college and grad school because it seemed cool, but I gave it up because my girlfriend didn’t like it. (We’ve been married for 38 years.)

I’ve never been on a cruise ship.
The closest thing has been car ferry’s and those so-called “cruise ships” that leave Navy Pier in Chicago and make a couple hour circuit back and forth about half a mile out before returning back to navy pier. It’s a boat ride, not a cruise.
But there is an emphysema suffering squid coming Kittenblue’s way.
I’ve smoked two whole cigarettes in my life. And probably had a few puffs of others.
