I’ve been part of a household that had a Christmas tree, but I’ve never had one myself. Since I always go back to visit the family, there’s no reason for me to have my own.

I’ve always had a Christmas tree, though some years it didn’t quite happen There was the Year of the Christmas Hedge, when we couldn’t get the darn fake tree to fit in the holder, and we ended up just leaning the branches against the wall. And the past few years I’ve dragged the 3 ft tree out three days before Christmas, threw an ornament and a stuffed moose at it, and then took it down a few days later. Oh crap…it’s still over there in the corner…
