It was my question, and the intended sense was for it to be either a kitten which was referred to as yours, or one that was effectively yours since you did the majority of the feeding, vetting, etc. So if your sister was useless as catcare, and you were usually the one feeding it, it’d count as “yours” - but if it was your mother, it wouldn’t.
