New Christie scandal

As a Louisiana boy who maintains ties to many in the state, I’ll dispute these claims, but not here.

Do we also need his disregard for science and his fundamentalist social policies?

You guys are * old!*

Has the Obama administration been a paragon of virtue in regards to science it doesn’t like?

Dunno. Got an example?

Keystone. The delays have been entirely influenced by politics. The science is clear: 1) Natural gas is cleaner than oil, and 2) Pipelines are the safest form of transportation for natural gas.

I’m not worried though. The same demographics which doom the GOP also doom the limousine liberals who currently have outsized influence in the Democratic Party. Once the working class again becomes the preeminent force, there will be no debate over things like drilling or building pipelines.

(emphasis added)

Other than that…

Oh wait, that’s the one from the oil sands in Alberta, right? He’s still ignoring the science.

Obama has been far better on science than Jindal. Obama has not made efforts to introduce pseudoscience into the educational system – Jindal has.

When are you libs going to stop spewing that bullshit over and over and start thinking for yourselves?

Sure am! Pot, kettle.

Too much bother.

Regards,
Shodan

Speaking of GOP science, what do points 1 and 2 have to do with Keystone? :dubious:

I’d give y’all the thread win if anyone but us old farts knew what you were talking about.

Keystone is an oil pipeline.

(Emphasis added.) What makes you think that? Limousine liberals are merely the social-liberal wing of the 1%, and the 1% is not threatened by demographics. The working class is not the “preeminent force” – and never was – for reasons having nothing to do with its numbers.

Christy’s Minstrels?

Call it phony and recycle the hard drive.

No biggie.

So, you’re admitting you spouted off about Keystone and people ignoring the science, without even knowing what Keystone is.

Damn, you’re a marvel, you are.

And I’m sure you say this on a basis that’s just as sound as the points you made about Keystone earlier.

Oh, and while I know nobody - really nobody anymore - is talking about Christie and the GOP Presidential nomination, it would be so much fun if he won the nomination. The Dems could pretend that Christie’s theme song was Jimmy Fallon’s song (to the tune of “Born to Run”) about being stuck in Christie’s Fort Lee, NJ traffic jam, and come up with slogans like “Vote Christie, so he can do to America what he did to Fort Lee.” It would be a riot.

Of course, what’s really funny is that a number of Republicans are getting so desperate, they’re saying maybe Mitt should run again. Because he’d do so much better against Hillary than he did against Obama. Wonder if he could even manage 47% this time?
