New dimensions in spam attacks

Now I got Billy Vera stuck in my head.

Damn, man, you go to some really dark places. Sorry to do that to you.

Don’t ever ask me about Theme from a Summer Place.

Nah. Muse Hi-Def laserdisc. Only way to go.

As long as there’s no fight to the death after you pay, I’d say you got off easy.

Not so much for this scammer, assuming OP didn’t alter the address.

0 balance, 0 transactions

Mostly anonymous. Anyone can check the balance and transaction history of an address per the above. But as you say, no way to know whose it is unless they do something stupid like posting it on a Google indexed website along with personal info.

I copied the email verbatim. So nobody has bit. Good.

I don’t know much about bitcoin, so I’m wondering if it is possible (or perhaps feasible) to have many different bitcoin addresses and put a different one in each copy of the email?

I wouldn’t worry about it. As long as your face isn’t shown in the video, I don’t see how anyone would be able to identify you.

I think we may have finally figured out what Putin has on Trump.

It is very possible to have many bitcoin addresses. However, it would be way too much work to have one address per email. You need to manage the wallet associated with each address.

Possible, but only feasible with automation. 100,000 bitcoin addresses for 100k emails would be impossible to manage without some sort of program to monitor them for you. It would be like you having 100k bank accounts that you have to log into individually to check balances.

Thanks AnalogSignal and Projammer.
