I understand there is a “New England” in Australia (southern Queensland, I believe). What precisely (or roughly, at least) is its location? I know there’s the New England Range; is this New England more or less the area around these mountains?
On my atlas, the New England Range appears to run from about Tamworth, New South Wales, to somewhere near the Queensland border.
Personally I think they should rename it New New England.
