I typically dig this genre; but this one left me cold, even if it does star Beat Takeshi.
Hypnotized (aka Faceless Beauty)
Korean psychological romantic drama with eroticism. Unfortunately, it wasn’t all that erotic and the drama and romance weren’t all that compelling. And I still haven’t figured out if the story is “complex” or just full of art-house pretentiousness. But boy the visuals were vivid and striking! Give the cinematographer props.
I already covered that with Fur.
