David Gregory is no better or no worse than any hack journalist they could have picked. Oh, sure, he’ll ask the tough question or two, and try to talk tough, he might even follow up once in a while, but never enough to get at the truth. No gain in pissing off the guests. It’s all about access, and if you are too tough on someone, they will just not come on the show again.
