Hey everyone, brand new to the forums. I am a new lets player. I did a Lets Play of Sonic 2 and wanted to show you guys and maybe get some feedback?
I know the audio isnt the best on parts 1 and 2 but its fixed from parts 3 on. Also, I did a montage that you might like. Any feedback is appreciated and taken seriously

The Let’s Play was… informative, but it missed a very key element of a Let’s Play, it’s not very entertaining. Compare your LP to the rather famous Sonic 2006 LP by Pokecapn from SomethingAwful. You mostly just ramble on about secrets and your how you felt about the game as a child. It’s fine to mention them, but most of the fun of an LP comes from mocking the game, or doing a hard game you don’t know well and devolving into insanity. It may behoove you to try something more freeform and sandboxy, because then it forces you into the mindset of doing things on a whim which is entertaining if you’re ADD enough. A LOT of LPers have come out of their shell by doing something like Minecraft.
You also sound too tense, I can understand that it’s hard in front of a microphone the first few times, but it would do wonders for your tone and watchability if you eased up. Don’t force any jokes if they don’t come to you, but try and add a little more whimsy if you can.
Missed edit: Also, this is different since it’s a screenshot LP, but check out my Sims 2 Let’s Play at the Lionhead Forums. It ended prematurely because school caught up with me all of a sudden (shame too, I liked doing it), but it was well liked around there for the short time it was up, maybe the tone can give you a few ideas.
