I was stoked, then I remember how uninteresting the last episode was…
I suspect I don’t like Michael. This long predates any major things he’s done in the series. Probably the actor.
I assume this is the US air date? Anyone have any info when the new episodes will begin in the UK? All I am seeing at the moment is advertisements for catch up episodes. Catch up? it’s only 3 weeks or so since the last one was shown, do they think we’re all goldfish or something?
You had to mention this didn’t you? I am SO stoked about this episode!!! - but will not see it because I’m planning to go to a really fun local event with a good friend. Damn. Will tape it, and I know its on the interweb the next day, but it’s just not the same. Sob.

How much you wanna bet they’re gonna air yet ANOTHER clip show, seeing as how they have to do one whenever the show is off the air for more than 2 weeks?
I am finally caught up with this show (it took A LOT of effort for me to finish off season 3, which had a first half that was boring and stupid, and it took a while to build up the momentum again), but I’m gonna wait it out so I can have a 5 episode marathon at the end of the season. This show just works so much better in bulk, rather than week to week.
I find that true as well. I watched the first 2 season back to back in a marathon session covering a couple evenings. Most shows are better that way. I watched all 3 seasons of Deadwood the same way.
I’ve gotten through 1 season of The Wire that way. Fuck, those are some long episodes.
Four weeks of new episodes. Then a week off so that freakin’ Grey’s Anatomy can have a 2 hour season finale. Then back for its own 2 hour season finale.
Totally agreed. Furthermore, our TV refuses to play Lost clearly, is fuzzy and staticky so you can’t hear a damn thing at the most exciting moments.
Still, I have no self-control and will still be glued to the TV tomorrow ;). It’s a good excuse to watch them again in bulk.
I’m looking forward to John Mace’s thread, too–I was just confused about when to look for it. Hooray for Lost!
