I don’t know if any of you had the pleasure of catching Blake Thomas at Berkhardts in Chicago over the past year, but he is a fantastic new songwriter and worth a listen. He has just formed a new band including an Old Town School instructor and various midwestern vagabond types. Yesterday they posted a free MP3 called “Nothing New” on there web site.
Its definitely worth a listen.
I can’t wait for their first Chicago show…
