Despite the flooding, from what I’ve seen it looks as if most of the houses and other structures are still standing. Can they be repaired and restored, or will everything have to be replaced? Is the French Quarter gone for good?
The French Quarter is on relativelu higher ground, so it should be okay. Not sure about the Garden District, but I think it’s higher than many areas.
