16G is the standard for Android?!? Is that because of the carrier?
8G is the maximum my carrier allows. I got a micro SD card for my Samsung only to discover that Samsung and micro SD cards don’t particularly get along as in “apps have a way of disappearing and reappearing at will if the app’s on the SD card”.
I don’t believe any carrier has restrictions on an Android phone’s internal memory. 16 and 32 Gb phones are becoming pretty common. Samsung even has a 128 Gb model.
I’m due for another phone anyway. I just can’t wrap my head around spending $$$ for one. My husband spent close to $500 on the latest Galaxy a couple of years ago. He got maybe a year’s use out of it before it kerfluffled. He needs the larger GB because of his work. I’d just like to be able to download stuff without the phone itself eating up most of the memory
