I switched to New Power for electricity about a year and a half ago. I was promised “free Decembers” for two years. This company has failed and I have received a document from the bankruptcy court asking me to submit evidence of money or services I am owed. What are the chances of me getting a couple of hundred dollars because they promised two free Decembers and I received only one? Other than completing the paper work, will I have to jump through any hoops to collect? What are the chances of getting anything at all?
Submit the evidence requested to the court and go from there.
Make sure you send photocopies of the evidence and no original documentation.
Cross your fingers and don’t hold your breath. You you receive anything, consider it a bonus.
