I believe the shiny coat is due to the vast quantity of peanut-butter-stuffed Kongs. Poor deprived puppy. 
Thank you! Well…Plexi. You know LordJim? His Keeshond Kissy had a phantom pregnancy a year or two ago. She made her nest and had her “puppies” and cared for them for a couple of weeks. So I asked LordJim to email me one of the puppies, 'cause I figured an invisible puppy would be hardly any trouble at all. If she blows coat like Kissy does, twice a year, then the fur would still be invisible, right? So I posted a picture of Plexi for him recently.
