new SciFi show?

Has anyone heard about The Triangle? I was IMDB’ing Eric Stolz after having an argument about “Some Kind of Wonderful” (BWAH!) and saw he’s in this - it’s a new miniseries on scifi - starts soon - early December I believe. About the Bermuda Triangle and some people trying to research why boats etc disappear there - which frankly is nuts and sounds like it could make for a good series. Rest of the cast looks good too - Catherine Bell, Lou Diamond Philips. Who else has heard of this? I hadn’t but glad to know about it - finally I’ll have something new to watch in December that isn’t a freakin holiday special!

I vaguely remember seeing ads for it back when the last new BG episode was broadcast over on SciFi. But I phased it out the moment they mentioned “Bermuda Triangle”, since that’s usually a key phrase meaning “Something crappy this way comes.” Sorry.

Really? I’ve always been sort of intriqued by the Bermuda Triangle phenomenon. I think this could be good. One thing that’s promising is I heard the same guy who did X-Men is involved in this - Bryan Singer. That piqued my interest when I read that - how could it be bad with Singer at the helm - heck yeah :stuck_out_tongue:

I’m cautiously optimistic, mostly on account of Bryan Singer’s involvement. Sci-fi has made decent mini-series before, it’s just their Saturday night movies that tend to suck. The Bermuda triangle phenomenon has been debunked of course, but there’s no reason an entertaining fictional show couldn’t be based on it.

Especially if they can develop a good nemesis to compete with the main character. I suggest Particle Man.

Have you checked out the show’s site? Found it this weekend and was perusing through - pretty cool.

bump…
