We worked together for a while when we were in college, at a restaurant; I was one of the few people working there who liked her (really, I did; she was always nice to me and that’s why) although it was mostly a matter of her being in a place where she didn’t belong.
Some years back, the old Court TV did a show about Safe Haven laws, and she was working for a pro-life agency at the time and was interviewed about this.
She was opposed to the concept. Figures.
Good grief, potentially restricting access to birth control is going to make all those problems worse!
How the fuck can you be a contraception skeptic? That’s like being a spoon skeptic, or something. “You can’t eat ice cream with one of these. They don’t work. The spoon industrial complex is lying to you. Wake up, Sheeple!!” Fucking retards.
The Republicans have been doing this sort of thing for years; since Bush II at least. They want to destroy the government and hate helping people in any way, so they appoint people to positions of authority who are opposed to the functions of that authority. Like putting someone who thinks AIDS can be cured by prayer to handle AIDS.
