Here.
Thanks for posting that!
Is it possible that the third one could as good as the second one? Or even better, like how the second was the rare sequel that was better than the original? Because Toy Story 2 is on my list of the ten best films of all time.
Eh…doesn’t look all that spectacular.
Spectacular? :dubious:
Toy Story 1 & 2 weren’t “spectacular” either. They were, however, fabulously entertaining, and full of heart. This trailer looks like 3 is a contender.
To further define what I meant…
It seems to have fallen under the “Transformers 2” way of thinking. Let’s just chalk it full of different toys to make people say “I remember that!”
But…it is Pixar, they do take what they do very seriously…so I very well could be wrong
Looks really fun to me. They seem to have improved on how they portray real life people - still no where a good as the toys, of course.
I am looking forward to it.
(Do cars in the Pixar world always have the same license plate numbers? :))
Oh, this is going to be awesome. A burnout toy ring?
I cannot wait! Looks fantastic!
I was thinking just the opposite. Pixar is great at finding the surprising, but still completely reasonable conclusions that come from a premise. Once you find out that toys are alive, everything follows pretty naturally; the rivalries, the recon on Christmas and birthdays, the collector market, etc. And now they’re going where they have to go.
I can’t wait to see this, almost more excited than my son is.
Looks pretty good to me! And they got all the previous actors back for the voices, plus some new ones in Whoopi Goldberg, Bonnie Hunt, and Timothy Dalton! Besides the entertaining plots I think what makes the Toy Stories work are the personalities in the voices of the cartoon characters.
Except, sadly, for slinky dog Jim Varney and Wheezy the Penguin Joe Ranft.
Totally psyched! I hope Pixar doesn’t disappoint.
I wonder if the alien guys will make another appearance. I love those little green scamps.
I am going to have to take my son, he was so excited to see the new trailer, he wanted to watch it over and over again. I think it will be great, Pixar is tops when it comes to kids movies.
So do I! They’re in the trailer, I think, so looks like you’ll get your wish.
I can’t get over how gorgeous the animation is. What an advancement / improvement over the original, though that’s only natural.
Personally Ken looked a bit light in the loafers to me, but maybe he’s just using Barbie for some nefarious purpose. Plus, ascots are bound to make one look Oscar Wildean. It was worth it for the “Nice assscot” line.
This looks AWESOME. C’mon summer, hurry up and get here!
Oh, is that what she’s saying! I thought she said “ass cut”, as in, saying that his haircut looks like ass. But I didn’t think that Barbie, in a Disney-backed movie, would actually say something so crude.
I had that Barbie! That *exact *one with the turquoise leotard and the pink legwarmers!
She also came with little pink ballerina shoes and a skirt to go over the leotard for when she wasn’t practicing.
Ken is not gay. He’s Prep. It’s an east coast thing. Specifically, since he’s a ‘used doll’, a 1980s-1990s prep. “Ken, let’s grab Muffy and Barbie and go out to the Hamptons.”
