I was watching a bit of this yesterday with my son. I’d forgotten how cheesy and fun it was, and I imdb’d some of the actors to see Where They Are Now. Faye Grant (aka Juliet) is married to Stephen Collins (Star Trek TMP, Seventh Heaven.)
They did in the original, too. The series, definitely. I always thought Diana and Lydia were going to eat each other in every scene they were in together…in both senses. There was enough sexual AND ambitious tension in all of those scenes to power that mothership they were on.
If there is any hint of a magical alien-human hybrid child anywhere in the show I will shoot the TV Elvis style.

Yeah I noticed that too lol. It also seemed to me that in the second miniseries the reporter/press secretary woman looked really really rundown. Did the actress pick up a drug habit in between series?
We watched a few minutes last night just before bedtime and after a scene between Diana and the reporter/spokeswoman my wife asked “did she turn out to actually be a man?”

The kid was listed as one of the things from the series that viewers liked and they planed to reuse. I thought I read that in my local TV magazine, but not so. I’ll keep looking. It was a turn off for me, too, but I’ll watch it. :rolleyes:
