If you can use another program or webmail service for POP3, one of the changes Yahoo just made is to enable that access without charge. So if you’re a Gmail or Outlook/Express user, you can now access Yahoo Mail without going to Yahoo.

That’s worked well for me. I’ve got one gmail account for family and friends, another one for my message board/blogging handles, and a Yahoo mail account which is what I give when I make any purchases or donations online. The one for family and friends is the only one I check daily; I only go to the others as needed.
