New Year, New Feud

Object of the game:
Give the most popular answer for each category. You want to match the other people in the game.

Rules:

DO NOT READ THIS THREAD BEFORE YOU POST YOUR ANSWERS, lest you see the other answers. Scroll really fast to the bottom, or hit “end” on your keyboard. We play by the honor system.

Formatting rules:

If formatting is not followed, your answers might be DISQUALIFIED!

  1. answer
  2. answer
  3. answer
  4. answer
    etc.

Make your list look like the one above. No double spacing. No periods (except for the one following the number.) No quote marks, no punctuation if it is not necessary! No smilies! No extraneous bullshit is allowed. If you feel you must qualify your answer, do it AFTER THE LIST!

The reason this is so important is because I cut and paste all the answers, and I have to edit each answer to make them identical. It is a lot of work, so please make it easier on me. Thanks.

Scoring - All matching answers will be worth 2 points each. For example: If 4 people match that means they each get 8 pts for that answer. No matches = 0 points.

The game will end when I feel that no more people are going to play, or a maximum of 50. I’ll score as fast as time will allow.
Good luck!

Special Rules for this particular Feud:

Use ONE WORD to put in front of or behind each clue. Include the clue in your answer. For example, if the clue was “blue,” you could answer “true blue” or “blue moon" or "bluebird.” Proper nouns are allowed. (Don’t use quotes like in my example. )

Good luck!

Smh at the formatting rules not followed.

You see why I don’t do these very often?

  1. round robin
  2. flat earth
  3. never ever
  4. revolving door
  5. Showroom floor
  6. first look
  7. right wing
  8. Downtown

  8. town hall
  9. water works
  10. walk back

Unfortunately quoting changes it into a bulleted list. I had to do some fancy footwork to get it back to a numbered list.

It does; but copy-and-pasting preserves the numbering.

It didn’t work for me- maybe it was an iPad issue. I had to create a numbered list and paste it into that.

  1. round robin
  2. flat Earth
  3. ever after
  4. door knob
  5. floor mop
  6. look away
  7. right now
  8. downtown
  9. waterfall
  10. sidewalk

My apologies – when I did my entry, I cut-and-pasted the list from your OP, which, when I did that, was showing up as formatted as a bulleted list, rather than a numbered list. :frowning:

I fixed yours. @Rebo, do any others need fixing?

Kayaker’s needs periods after the numbers.

Yeah, sorry about that. While you’re at it could you change my answers to match ITD’s? It looks like she’ll be the winner. Heh.

  1. round robin
  2. flat top
  3. ever after
  4. doorbell
  5. floor sample
  6. second look
  7. right hook
  8. downtown
  9. sparkling water
  10. crosswalk

I find if you quote one extraneous character (in this case I added the exclamation point before the list) then Discourse keeps the numbered list formatting. Then you have to go back and delete the extra character.

They all look fine now. I’m sorry, I wasn’t aware of the C&P problem.
