An odd thing to do here, but what the hell.
As I’ve mentioned before, a bunch of my friends and I are going to New Orleans for New Year’s Eve. We had two rooms reserved for four nights in a guest house in the French Quarter, and when a few more people decided to join the party, we went ahead and reserved a third (non-refundable) room.
As we should have predicted, right after we reserved the third room, a few people had to drop out. (The reasons were legitimately unforeseeable and beyond their control.) This has left us with three rooms and fewer people to split the cost than we’re happy with. We really could use one or two more.
So does anyone want to go to New Orleans next week?
We’re checking in on December 28 and checking out on January 1. (Unfortunately, we start back on January 2.) The crew (krewe?) includes mostly med students and grad students with assorted siblings and hangers-on, and is a good mix of the hard-core and the laid-back.
If anyone is interested, e-mail me at the address in my profile, and we’ll talk. It’s possible we may not have room after all, but I don’t know.
