It’s a sad day in the world of opera.
I used to see their performances every summer when they were at Saratoga. We’d get lawn passes and they were the high point of the season. But they left in the 1990s and we stopped getting lawn passes after that.
I fell in love with opera there. Sad to hear they’re gon.
