Even news up till mid-Feb seems innocent now. Political cartoons before them are so quaint. And current travel magazines still arriving point to a fantasy world.

I read the NYT email bulletins from the end for obits. IIRC the year-end news sites show that year’s list of prominent croakers. The 31 Dec 2020 list will likely be many times the usual.

No, I did not notice. Further, this is the sort of simple mistake that appears more and more frequently in my writing. Honestly, I wonder if it is my eyes or something worse. All in all, I am considering posting less here.
OTOH, mistakes like that matter less on lesser parts of the Internet.

We received a supermarket magazine a week or two ago encouraging us to “celebrate spring” by inviting friends over and cooking together.
