Trump may be taking an adversarial attack vector in trade but frankly there is bipartisan support and opposition to that. He is nominating conservative justices, nothing special about that.
His stance on immigration seems racist and frankly THIS is what is really bothering so many people. But even this will change as soon as the administration changes.

They have successfully convinced many, many white people (and a few others) that the left hates them, and thus they can blame the left for being pushed towards racism-enablers and tolerators like Trump.

It’s largely fictional – “critical race theory” is both not particularly widespread or influential among the left (aside from specialist academics and writers) and your view of it appears wildly inaccurate. There might be a very few lefties that actually qualify as something akin to what you’re describing, but that’s very, very few, and they have been mostly preceded (for decades!) by the very successful Hannity/Limbaugh view that the left has hated white people for decades.

Why didn’t I feel this way 10 years ago or 20 years ago? Jeong won’t affect my vote but I’m not really that close to the fence. But that doesn’t mean that the left rallying around her racism like this won’t push some people off that fence.

The left hasn’t rallied around her tweets. She denounced them herself. Virtually no one in the left, aside from the hardest of the hard-core keyboard warriors, even know who she is, from a national perspective.

Trump is the logical result of decades of Hannity and Limbaugh’s style of bullshit propaganda. Not the left. But they successfully convinced tons of Americans that the left, and most of the media, was evil and out to get them. It was and still is entirely bullshit, apart from a teeny-tiny fringe (a fringe which will always exist, because there are always people who believe in anything, and now they’re easy to find on the internet). There’s no equivalent on the left that has anything near the influence that they have.

Still, unlike some here I feel honor-bound to call things fairly, regardless of whether or not someone is on my “side”. And I must admit, I do cringe when I see you write “noone”. And in fairness it must be said that EE does not make those kinds of spelling errors. However, EE makes all kinds of other cringey errors: he puts double quotes nested inside of double quotes instead of using single quotes; he computes averages incorrectly, then later demonstrates that he doesn’t even understand what the word “average” means; he makes it clear he doesn’t get how analogies work; and he tries to advance logical-mathematical propositions that are not valid—either because he can’t do the computations correctly, doesn’t understand formal logical structures, or most likely both. And then he aggressively insists everyone else is idiotic and he is right, making even this atheist think about the Biblical adage concerning planks in one’s own eyes vs. motes in others’.

ETA: The left is not “to blame for Trump”. There is nothing remotely excusable about voting for Trump. But there are things we can do to make it less likely for someone like Trump to win. This is the same distinction as saying it’s not “victim blaming” to caution young college women to avoid accepting drinks in open containers. If you accept such a drink and get roofie-raped, it’s not “your fault”, but it’s still a good idea to take the precaution.

That doesn’t mean it’s the best indicator of who voted for Obama in 2008 and/or 2012 but voted for Trump in 2016. Those are the people we need to study and target, not the ones who search for the N-word (I still find it weird and cringey that you keep writing it out BTW) and probably have not voted for any Democratic presidential candidate since 1960.

For what it’s worth I was referring to a specific formulation of a math problem, as formulated by you (Damuri Ajashi), that concerns how looking at per capita figures can lead to unintuitive results. The made up example you gave was sound. If the main point of disagreement is what the figures are in reality, well, I have no real insight there.
