New Yorker omits "Goings on About Town"

What the title says. No movie, theater, museum, concert, or restaurant reviews in the latest issue. I’ve never seen that before. Sign of the times.

Another observation, from a very different place, a rural region of Germany: we have a free local paper that comes twice a week, lives from advertising and usually contains a dozen or so leaflets from local stores: today, not one leaflet, only a very small paper, and the mid-week edition is cancelled for the next two weeks.

ETA: this paper is also the most important announcement source for local events. But all events are cancelled, so almost nothing to report.
