And now the thread looks like people were joking about finding dead children. Not sure moving those posts was actually a good idea.
That’s why i was very careful to place them between a post that said, “yeah i think at the time of that thread no one knew they were murder victims or children” and a post that said “end of moved posts”.
I think that other thread was already awkward, knowing what is now known. I felt that introducing them by explicitly stating it wasn’t known helps.
But i suppose it makes moving on to the serious conversation more awkward. I don’t think pulling it together makes it worse, but I’ve certainly been wrong before.
When people talk about kids these days being spoiled rotten, I don’t think this is what they had in mind.
(What’s that?…Moved on from the jokey stuff?…A real tragedy?…likely to be pitted…yeah, I’ll stay away now).
Seems that investigating who had rented the storage locker should be fairly rudimentary.
May be not, some are handed in cash monthly or annually, no ID needed.
