Newly released Marilyn pics

So this morning, waiting for my physical, I picked up the current Newsweek, which has some of the never before seen photos of Norma Jean from 1945. Can you say

Va-VOOM!! ?

Hubba hubba. Apparently someone convinced Andre de whatshisname’s widow to allow much of his unpublished work to be released, and the book is coming out next month. I’m off to find relevant links, such as price, date, and if any are up on the net yet. Even after all these years, she still has got it, and a lot of it. Yow.

She’s been dead forty years this week. Jeez, I feel old—I barely remember when she died, but I do recall the big ten-year anniversary brouhaha.

Here’s the link to the Newsweek story. There are a few pics there, but some of the best of the pre-glamorized, pre-padded ones in the magazine aren’t there, unfortuneately. Here’s the link to the publisher’s page about the book. There will only be 20,000 copies printed, worldwide, apparently, so the price is set at $200. Jerks.
