How can some of these guys have their arms exposed in -4 degree temps and not need them amputated after the game?
Increased circulation brought on by sustained exertion. Vasodilation, etc. Brings core heat to the extremities. If, for instance, I go hiking in very cold weather, I always end up in a t-shirt after a mile or two.
Edit - or, to be less pedantic, I was just whooshed.
I hate the Manning family. I love the Packers.
But, here we are going into overtime, and my Packers just plain do not deserve to win this game. The only reason they have the score they do is purely luck.
Sigh.

I’m sorry, Merijeek. Can’t win 'em all. It’s going to be a very grumpy place in the McKnittington household tonight, too. My brother just left the house in disgust. I always hated those Peyton Manning commercials. And now I see I had reason!
jtgain, I see you’re from Florida. Do you have any experience with cold weather of the kind in Green Bay right now? I can’t believe I’m saying this because it sounds pretty ludicrous, but -4 degrees Fahrenheit isn’t all that cold when you’re moving around. I went out to do chores tonight, and although I was wearing more clothing than a football player, I was perfectly comfortable with bare hands and a bare face because the rest of me was covered and I was working pretty hard, though not as hard as a football player. If you can keep your head and your torso warm, then the rest of you should be OK, as long as you don’t do anything stupid like park yourself in a snowbank for a few hours.
Brother and sister in law just spent 4 hours minimally in the cold to watch the Pack lose. Worst part of it was as season ticket holders he won the lottery for Superbowl tickets. He’s crushed.
ETA- As to the OP, you get used to it, we’ve learned how to cope.
