Good point and well taken. In fact, there have been a number of Native American organizations calling on the Chiefs organization to end the chop and chant.
But do you think that Florida State is chanting “We’re a bunch of Indians!”?
That was my original beef with @bobot’s post. You don’t like the chop and chant, I get it. You don’t like the Chiefs in part because of the chop and chant, I get it.
But don’t put words into the mouths of Chiefs fans.
Going for it (and failing) on 4th and 4 early in the game instead of taking the chip-shot field goal looks even more stupid than it did at the time. Those three points would have been really useful…

Mahomes and the Chiefs strike me, for the most part, as one of the better-behaved dynasties, but they have really let some of their success/fame go to their heads. Whether it’s Mahomes whining and raging at the refs about a perfectly-correct call about Toney being offside, or Kelce raging and shoving Andy Reid during the Super Bowl, there is legit reason to dislike them.
I somehow forgot all about that. Maybe it’s because we didn’t get a whole rant in the Pit about it.
