I am particularly interested in the Cowboys cheerleaders. Do they get paid per game, do they get paid at all?
I am also interested as to how they are compensated for appearences like calendar shoots, etc…

I recall reading that they do not get paid, but the exposure and connections are worth more than a salary…
“…the exposure and connections…”
Arky, was that an intentional choice of words? [smiley here]
Yeah…that’s the ticket…
Miami Dolphin cheerleaders didn’t get paid squat. For all I know they still don’t, but I’m not dating any of them now so I can’t confirm.
Notice how I slipped that in?
A few years ago I knew a Cincinnati Bengals cheerleader. She said they were paid $16 per game. And they weren’t allowed to date the players.
So bayonet, is it true you used to date a Miami Dolphins cheerleader???
G
Honest to goodness. Married her too.
Sir! This is a family forum!
I’ve gotta throw this in.
The strangest gig I ever played was a Christmas party for a local construction firm. The other “entertainment” was the Denver Bronco Cheerleaders–about 4 or 5 of them, IIRC, with a slightly older lady (former cheerleader, I’d guess) who apparently was there to supervise. They signed calendars and stuff and danced with the guys–who had brought their wives to the party–while we played. They also thought our (lesbian) lead singer was the greatest!
My girlfriend used to work with a former Rams cheerleader. I don’t think they were really paid anything for doing it (this was as recent as a couple of years ago).
According to the official DCC (Dallas Cowboy Cheerleaders) Web site, cheerleaders are paid accordingly:
(And no; they can’t date players or Dallas Cowboy’s employees.)
Beautiful.
Peace,
