NFL green dot???

Gah! That never happened!!!

But what if the green dot is made of Kryptonite?

I just don’t understand the point of the dot. It’s not like there’s some kind of foolproof “dot = radio” relationship. If the offense wanted to cheat, couldn’t they have a helmet with a radio and no dot? So the dot has no value, it doesn’t prove anything.

What am I missing?

Why then it would only affect Tony Romo.

Presumably a referee or league official can ask to inspect a helmet if any cheating is suspected. And presumably the biggest thing keeping teams from cheating in this way is the likelihood of extreme sanctions from the league (forfeited games, lifetime ban from the league for the coach, etc.).

But, of course, the first and last recorded instance of cheating in the NFL was this year’s Patriots signal stealing affair. God bless Roger Goodell and the spirit of Pete Rozelle.

:applause:

There should be communication available for every player, but wired. Now that would be fun.
