Sweet.
Gotta salvage something before the half. Then one hell of a pep talk with Cutler.
Not only am I playing against Cutler in my fantasy money league, I’m starting the Packers D myself. One of those really crappy turns of fate that pits Fantasy and Real football fandom. I’m much rather lose this week in fantasy though, no question there.
For as crappy as Cutler has played so far, the Bears aren’t anywhere near out of the game.
If he stops spazzing out I think the Bears are favored to win this game.
A Field Goal would be HUGE! For as shitty as Cutler has played, Barbre has been his equal.
That Hail Mary looked like it was in Olsen’s hands…fuck.
Barbre is getting eaten alive out there. That play where he got tossed aside like a ragdoll was embarrassing.
I think they may lock Barbre in the bathroom at halftime and not let him out. Bring on Giacomini.
I’m really worried about the Packers’ offense. We need a right tackle, pronto. I also hope that at some point we will stop telegraphing our DB blitzes. A good QB will punish that.
Why? The Bears receivers are suddenly going to get better? The power running game? Rodgers going to keep missing his receivers on deeper throws?
Cutler actually reminds me of Favre a little. He has too much confidence in his arm. Plus, he gets frustrated and tries to force throws when he shouldn’t. He’s the new “gunslinger”.
Also, perhaps a fan can come down and play RT for the Pack. Couldn’t do much worse.
Because the Packers points have been gifts and we’ve thrown away points.
Except that Favre had a more manly, resigned grimace. Cutler just looks shellshocked.
But we cannot keep telegraphing our defense and leaving receivers open. At some point Cutler might show why he’s worth two 1s and a 3.
It’s nice to have Cullen Jenkins back.
Yeah, they announced before the game that Cutler was feeling anxious. Exactly what I want to hear.
Omniscient, I’m in the same boat. In my money league, I’m going for Green Bay. But I’ve got Hester on my fantasy league. What’s going on here? Why no love for Hester? Who’s this #22 kid?
…moving onto old news…
Tony Romo gets a career-high passing day. TO who?
…And the Boys get the Primetime Sunday night game next week!
Pretty good Pep talk it seems.
Looks like I spoke too soon… WOOO!!!
Woodson and Collins get burned.
This is part of the problem they had last year. They get cocky and complacent, and get burned. I was hoping Dom would have taken care of that.
I’ve never thought your DBs were worth a damn, but the 3-4 blitzing will help protect them. Except that time…
