The Texans scored the last 24 points of the game (admittedly the last TD was a pick 6) and spent the last 3 minutes of the game setting up the last field goal. If the Chargers defense had issues, they started early in the 2nd half in trying to figure out whether to commit to stopping the run or stopping the pass and failing at both.
Also, both the Texans offense and defense were abysmal in the 1st half. I’d like to know if it was rust getting knocked off, playing so late on the West Coast, rookies getting knocked around, or if the team has fundamental issues. With the talent on the team, I’d like to think it was the travel/weird start time and summer rust, but I guess we’ll find out next Sunday.

The skins are my #2 team behind the Bears so I wanted them to win but I think this was probably good for rg3 to eat some humble pie IMHO. He has spent far too much time in the media delivering daily quotables (and his dad for that matter) and I think he forgot he’s still just barely past his rookie year and probably needs to focus more on practice and less on media time.

Well, see…in every league, somebody has to be the doormat. In Suicide, that tends to be me. Still, I thought whoever played the Jets in week one was a good bet. Should gone with the Colts over the Raiders…but that one was closer than I thought it would be.
We they relented and allowed us to hear the game, I suspect the mmgt was worried about armed insurrection and the patrons throwing the slightly off Shiner Bock into the nearest bayou in protest.
