Pretty classy of #95 coming off the field to have a word with RG. He’s the one that caused the sack and gimp. I dislike the shit out of the Eagles. I wish they’d quit making me have to say decent things about them.

Ah, well played. Let me lawyer out of this by saying that a actual NFL QB wears a jersey, just a generic jersey. A “QB jersey” is defined as a mass produced souvenir with a QBs particular branding on it.

Neither does Chris Berman being the announcer of the late game. Greenberg and Golic weren’t very good when they did the 2nd Monday opener, but Berman is a whole other category of not good.

Well sat in a hotel in Houston where the bar and resteraunt are under renovation, so both are relocated to a temporary area, there is a TV but the mmgt won’t turn up the volume for the Texans game, the patrons are getting testy and conspiring to take matters into thir own hands, some are lining up the audio via an ipad. Apparently even visitors to Texas take football seriously.

Looks incomplete. Interesting to see the Philly offense looking so good to begin with. Big Chip Kelly fan, but utterly baffled at Pat Shurmur at OC.

Although I agree that Kelly’s passing game remains the biggest question mark about whether his offense will work in Philadelphia, my concern wasn’t that he lacked NFL passing concepts at Oregon. It was about how they were being taught. Some of this can be credited to the fact that Kelly only had talented passers in his first and last seasons at Oregon — first with Dennis Dixon and then last season with freshman Marcus Mariota. Still, Oregon’s passing game never struck me as particularly crisp. The concepts were there — including NFL staples like snag/scat, four verticals, drive, and cross — but Kelly’s quarterbacks rarely took a true drop, instead just shuffling in place, and all too often the timing and precision of the passing game was off. Despite the record numbers his offense put up, one always got the sense that without the impressive running game and dynamic overall design, Kelly’s Ducks would be an average passing team.

In this context, however, Kelly’s seemingly odd hires of Shurmur, quarterbacks coach Bill Lazor, and wide receivers coach Bob Bicknell, who each have years of NFL experience coaching the passing game, make a lot more sense — Kelly was hiring to his weaknesses.

The management won’t turn up the volume for the last MNF game that people in the makeshift bar area want to watch? Is this not America?
