Wow, terrible play call by the Bears on the fake punt, even worse play by Rivers when he couldn’t even successfully throw a ball away.

Incidentally, that was an awesome play design on the fake punt, just a pointless, dangerous baffling time to call it.
Between that and the Knox trick against the Packers, we’ve burned to awesome trick plays on special teams for no result.

Well, two scores in 1:40 isn’t unheard of. If you don’t get the first, then you’re giving SD ~30 yards for their first try. I think the upside probably warranted it. Although you also have to take the meta game into consideration. That play might not work in the future now.
One drive in: Vince Young looks awful to decent play to play and the Eagles get flagged for two really awful calls. Nothing surprising, especially the lack of running.
