NFL Week 15

Chiefs eliminated relatively early in a season. What a change that is.

My youngest daughter is 11, and this is the first time in her lifetime that the Chiefs won’t be in the playoffs.

As a Chiefs fan, I can’t say I’m surprised that KC lost today. There are a lot of holes on that team that need to be patched. Chiefs coming into the game as a 6-point favorite was laughable.

The good news is that they’ll have a higher draft pick and a somewhat easier schedule than they’ve had for quite some time.

Assuming he doesn’t need major knee surgery.

Eagles clobber Raiders 31-0 in what may have been the second fastest game (elapsed real time) in NFL history (being reported as 2:31). Chargers at Colts in 1996 was 2:29, Titans at Colts in 2008 was 2:33. I checked other scores when the game was over and all were early in the fourth quarter.

Did Tom Brady just call a Stafford pass a “piss missle?”

I’ve been waiting all year to find out who got to win the inaugural Tom Brady Piss Missile award

I haven’t seen such lopsided officiating in a while.

(It’s Only Pass Interference When Seattle Does it)

Pretty blatant no-calls on Indy on key plays, and a ticky-tack one on Seattle on a 3rd and long. Shameful.

Wow, journeyman kicker Grupe on the Colts had the game on the line when they forced him to kick a 60 yard FG and he puts it right down the damn middle with 10 yard to spare.

Edit: Woops, potentially game winning. Still 47 seconds in the game.

Rivers on the throws I’ve seen definitely didn’t exhibit much arm strength. 18/27 but for only 120 yards.

Philip Rivers looked legitimate. He was a game manager, and Seattle was clearly having an off week at every phase except the field goal unit, but I did not expect a guy his age playing for the first time in 5 years to be that good. He had some decent mid-short passes and didn’t seem over his head at any point.

His long ball is non-existent but that grandpa can play.

Scott Hanson is so good at his job. He doesn’t get credit for being one of the best sports broadcasters.

Patrick Mahomes diagnosed with torn ACL.

Broncos go for it TWICE on 4th down, come up empty both times, GB still has a chance. 55 yard FG or a punt were the other options. Didn’t matter GB out on downs.

Parsons (GB) also with an ACL injury.

Packers did OK for some (even most) of the game, but didn’t quite do well enough. They no longer lead the NFC North and will face the Bears next week.

As a 49er fan, tell me about it! Every time we played the Chiefs, they NEVER had a holding call against them, but, of course, refs are impartial

And Christian Watson with a chest injury. The Pack loses their most explosive offensive player, and their most explosive defensive player. :frowning:

That’s different, I bet if you look long enough you’ll find special rules for the Chiefs somewhere in the NFL rules archives.

They can be found immediately after the Brady rules.

Quote possibly.

If you were to go to an NFL game in cold weather, what kind of stadium would your prefer?
