“Ahn-zhay” is what I usually hear from the both Bob Miller (Kings Announcer - TV) and Norm Nixon (Kings Announcer - Radio)
I noticed that all of the Kings and the fans “Have Sinned”…QUICK!..return the Cup! :rolleyes:
“Ahn-zhay” from RDS’s Pierre Houde as well, and he goes out of his way to pronounce names the way the players want him to (him learning to spit out Spacek with the accent was pretty funny).
Not to rain on the King’s parade or anything, but should we get an offseason thread going? I think it’s going to be interesting, what with the new CBA and (from my point of view) all the changes going on with the Habs.
Gerard Gallant and Clement Jodoin sign on as assistants to Michel Therrien. I like the hiring of Gallant, and I’m ambivalent about Jodoin (he didn’t get much out of the Bulldogs, but that’s because they were all up in the bigs last year!). Lots of front-office hires too, including Patrice Brisebois and that wonderful commercial-quality hair of his. 
Yes, and once the team finally bottoms out, buys out Gomez, and becomes a legit cup contender, Therrien will be fired, so Patrick Roy can become coach, and give everyone the appearance that he is magic.
Remember this in 2016. You heard it here first.
