Aw, c’mon – Radar Scope wasn’t that good…
(Hey, if Mobo can steal the playing card joke, I can swipe this one.

I’m pretty sure that game led to the break-up of my freshman-year roommate and her boyfriend.
She was one of those clingy, let’s-engage-in-wholesome-activities-together kind of girl, and he loved coming by so he could play Punch-Out on my old NES we had hooked up. “Come on, let’s go take a walk.” and “Wait, just let me knock out Great Tiger!” are phrases indelibly etched in my memory.
She was a bitch anyway. Punch-Out was a much better way for him to spend his time.
I still play it on my RockNES. Viva emulation!
Ah, the joys of Punchout. Of course, if you were to walk into my bedroom right now, you would see a Nintendo hooked up with Tecmo Superbowl in it and a Dr. Mario cartridge off to the side.
Oh I love Dr. Mario. Hours of fun for the whole family.
In the “you know you’ve played to much Nintendo” dept:
Had my NES hooked up through the stereo. Got so good at Punch Out I would turn the TV off & literally “play it by ear”.
I remember playing Mike Tyson’s Punch Out when I was a kid. But I liked to use the Power Glove when playing it (anyone remember that, a good idea gone bad?). Anyways, it was quite a workout… Made you feel like you were actually in a fight after it was over haha.
I miss my old NES. My dad sold the console and all the games at a garage sale for something like $10. Without asking me first.
Yeah, I loved Pong, too.
Bip, bip, bip, BOOP!
