NO! Comcast Heavy Metal is OUR generation!

Ohhhhhh God, I can’t stop laughing. That’s indelible.

Nope. Jethro Tull started in '67, therefore they are the first Heavy Metal band. The proof is in the grammy

Metal cannot be easily defined. It has to be felt. This new stuff doesn’t feel like Metal at all. It might be loud and distorted, but it’s not Metal. I think of Black Sabbath as the beginning of Metal, but that may just be because I’m young and haven’t been exposed to the early stuff. I have Comcast, and I’ll be sure to steer clear of their Power Crock…er…uh…Rock. That just doesn’t feel right.

My main complaint about the newer popular metal as opposed to the good old stuff is that the popular stuff places absolutely no emphasis on technical skill. It sounds like these guys can barely play their instruments. That just doesn’t work for me, but so many people just don’t know better. Ah, where’s Gene Hogland when you need him?
