No, I didn’t search for an answer to this problem. However, I can’t seem to edit my own posts once I’ve submitted them.
That is correct, you cannot.
That function has been disabled for the general population to prevent, among other things, its potential abuse in debates. However if you make a particularly nasty error ( i.e. bad enough to really mar your post and make it difficult to read/understand ) I’ve noticed that the staff will sometimes clean it up for you if you ask nicely or they run across it and have the time and inclination ( they have for me at least once by request and several times on their own initiative ).

There’s a little box at the bottom of every SD thread . . . that says what you can and cannot do.
Look for “Forum Rules.” Bottom of the page, left-hand side.
Hope that helps.

Ahh, my bad. Thanks.
There’s also a handy dandy link called “Report this post to a moderator” on the bottom right of every post.
You can use it to request a mod to edit your post. Do note that in general we do not edit a post for content.
It’s also a good idea to use the “Preview Reply” button (right next to the “Submit Reply” button), especially if your post has a lot of complex formatting. This will also allow you to test any links you’ve included in the post.
