That they’re crap that came out ages after the Top 40 stopped being any good? Why should I have a problem with that? 
I’m not that crazy about the November 1991 Top Five either.
But in 1991 I would have regarded the Top Five from the end of the age of Disco as being moldy fossils from the Pleistocene era.
I’d like to think that no snot-nosed 24-year-old today would think that about songs that, while not loved, are still somewhat fresh in my memory, but I just heard “Set Adrift on Memory Bliss” yesterday… as the music being piped into a Subway store.
