On skim-reading, this looked like “crackpot chicken.” Just thought I’d share.
Our KitchenAid mixer is my favorite tool in the whole house. There’s something about the sound of those worm gears…
Thank you. I’ve got a pork roast in the freezer that will be introduced to pineapple juice in the very near future!
I want one of those sandwhich makers! When I was in high school, my best friend had one and we used to make hot ham and cheese, or french toast all the time.
I want one that doubles as a waffle iron. Frozen waffles just aren’t the same.
My mom used to make waffles in her cast iron, on the stovetop, waffles came out shaped like hearts waffle maker, with her from scratch recipe. I never appreciated her cooking much when I was at home - I sure would now.
I use a whole chicken when I make my world famous Italian chicken. Pieces work just as well though.
I have a waffle iron/griddle that is probably about 40 years old. Makes the best waffles! I like to use Jiffy Corn Muffin Mix to make waffles. Just follow the directions for making corn muffins and pout the batter in the waffle iron. I can make two huge waffles out of a box. MMMMMM…
hmm, don’t you act like you love this stuff when you receive it? Maybe your Mom and ‘other’ SIL should be posting here too!

My late mother-in-law used to make the tackiest things in pottery class at the Senior Center. Her heart was in the right place, but dear Og, she had no color sense whatsoever. She also valued quantity over quality, and it showed. Her main goal was to turn out more pieces than anyone else. She never looked at any of her works with a critical eye.
I think that there’s a pork roast in our slowcooker’s future. I’ve marinated pork in pineapple juice before, and loved the way it tasted. I bet a slowcooked version is even better. Hmmmmm, cole slaw for a side dish?
