Glad it’s worked out, but I will sound this cautionary note: “…and I’ll also cover any other medical costs that may come up” is the kind of vague promise that might lead to litigation down the road if, God forbid, you have further health issues and he balks when you come back to him. I’ve had similar cases come before me. Just a thought.
