When I put my straightedge up against the line of “squares”, I can see that it ain’t straight.
I think he’s fudging for effect.
You got a flat screen? If not you might like to try printing out the image and checking the edges again.
(which I haven’t done so I cannot attest to the fudging or non-fudging of said image)
