No slutty dancing, thanks...

After the TMI thread, nothing is too convoluted.

Yeah, I think that’s what she said the song was… I’m not familiar with much of what Britney does, but the little I’ve seen is pretty bad. Well, this should be an interesting letter.

Sweaty men feeling up a sweaty/oily Spears… she gropes herself a little too.

Our assorted cheerleaders/“hi-stepper” dancers/step team girls definitely have some PG-13 moves going on when they get their groove thang on during pep rallies and the like. And God knows, prom’s all about bumping and grinding. I couldn’t believe it when I went to an ROTC military formal and witnessed similar antics…but man, when those jackets come off…-shakes head-

Anyhow, at one point last year parents complained or something, and the principal told them to clean up the moves. So they got better for a while before they regressed.

Britney always has interesting outfits/songs/dancers…“Slave for You” is definitely the most in-your-face one as of yet though. She is hot, sweating, gyrating, being licked…it’s crazy.

Wow…life imitating art. This reminds me of an episode of “Boston Public”- that’s the one where the cheerleading coach instructs the girls in doing these really…ah…sexual moves. I never thought people did things like this in real life. Maybe I’m just at the wrong school.

As we were driving today, the kid described the Britney video as “…a thin layer of clothes away from an orgy” - yeah, that’s what I want to see from a group of high schoolers. I included that little quote in the letter to the principal. Wonder how soon I’ll get an answer back??

Just a little update for anyone who cares…

I never did hear back from the principal. However, daughter dear informed me today that the dance is out, as is a “worse” dance that was being done by the other class. I’m wondering if another parent complained, too. In any event, there will be no slutty dancing at Ridgeview High School this semester. At least not in these two classes.

I’m still as proud as I can be of my kid - I don’t think I’d have had such guts when I was 16.

And the World is a better place, all because of a spunky kid and the mother who loves her. Tonight on a Very Special Blossom.
